Katie and I are headed back to Charlotte for three weeks. We leave tomorrow afternoon and end up at our destination Wednesday morning. I am looking forward to seeing family and friends but I am sad to be leaving my home, friends and new family. I will post some pictures from the trip.

We got the first snow of the winter tonight! It was so good to see it. I can´t believe I am saying it but I missed the snow a little. The only thing that could have made it better would have been soaking in a hot pot in the snow.

Siggi and I went to the pool the other day after a long day of hard work. We were sitting in the hot tub and it started to rain, then it started to hail and then the sun came out. I love sitting in the hot pot when it is raining or snowing.

We moved everything out of the old Glætan Coffee to the new Glætan Coffee. It took all day and thankfully a lot of guys showed up to help. The new place is incredible. It is located on the busiest street in Reykjavik. It is a huge building. The bottom floor is the coffee shop, the […]

We worked at the new Glætan yesterday. We put in almost 10 hours cleaning walls and floors, tearing down walls, ripping up carpets, cleaning cleaning, cleaning. It was a long hard day. Very tiring but the up side of all this work is a new coffee shop, a prayer room and an apartment for Katie […]
